Those Kit Foxes and me

Although the weather was warm, and humid with no wind, the sky was overcast gray with clouds, With the ever impending threat of rain coming at any second, my husband and myself and our youngest working fervantly to prepare our garden for planting. He rototilled the soil into rows with an ancient rototiller we borrowed, I picked up and pulled weeds and other invasive vegetation along with our two year old son. His wispy shoulder length blonde hair like corn silk. Our other two children playing in the house, could not be enticed to come out and help, they were in the bedroom swept away in some imaginary dimension playing the role of "Kit Foxes". They would ever so often poptheir heads up and press their faces against the window to check on us and we would occasionally catch a glimpse of each other smile and go about our ways.
